Happy Birthday!

August is a crazy birthday month at Pinnacle. We have 5 staff birthdays, countless athlete birthdays, and a bunch of birthday parties at the gym! Not to mention August 1st is Pinnacle’s Birthday. This year, we were lucky to celebrate our 9th birthday.

As is the tradition in elementary school, at Pinnacle, the team girls normally bring birthday treats to hand out at the end of practice. As these girls spend many hours a week with each other (and our coaching staff), it is only fitting that they want to celebrate their day at the gym as well.

This year, our level 9 and 10 group requested that Hannah and I bring birthday treats that were extra special. Cookies, cupcakes, popsicles… plain. They wanted something that could excite them at the end of a four hour practice! After doing a little research, I found these: Oreo upside down cheesecakes. Easy to make, single serving packaged, and crowd pleasing.

In addition to having great birthday treats, Pinnacle has a fantastic birthday party set up. Private parties include structured and supervised time in the gym with your special group, use of the party room, and paper goods in the color of your choice. Check out our website for more information and to schedule online!

PS I found this recipe to make 24 (not 12) cupcake sized treats.
