10 Fun Floor Routines

Need a reason to smile? These routines will surely put a smile on your face. Check out these 10 fun floor routines performed by elite gymnasts. These routines not only have great tumbling and dance, they also have fantastic choreography, music and presentation. These are routines that you will want to watch more than once!


1. Simone Biles - 2019 



A few of my favorite parts:

  • The Biles 2 (triple double) performed in the first pass 
  • The Biles (double layout with 1/2 twist) performed in the second pass
  • The signature "oh" in the choreography

2. Maggie Nichols -2015


A few of my favorite parts:

  • The choreography, specifically the precise arm and hand movements throughout
  • The excellent posture in the landings 
  • The split positions in the leaps 

3. Aly Raisman - 2012


A few of my favorite parts:

  • The connections in the first pass
  • The crowd involvement
  • The split jump out of the double pike 

4. Jordyn Wieber - 2012



A few of my favorite parts:

  • The excellent landings 
  • The musicality throughout
  • The ending choreography 

5. Alicia Sacramone - 2005



A few of my favorite parts:

  • The power in the tumbling and presentation
  • The choreography between the first and second pass
  • The triple twist dismount

6. Tasha Schwikert - 2002

  • The full in to punch front (first pass)
  • The confidence in the choreography
  • The music

  • The double layout to punch front (first pass)
  • The connection of the first pass right into her dance 
  • The big arm movements 

8. Dominique Moceanu - 1996



A few of my favorite parts:

  • The back to back first two passes
  • The way she plays to the crowd
  • The music selection for the Atlanta, Georgia Olympics

9. Kim Zmeskal - 1991


A few of my favorite parts:

  • The finishes to her tumbling passes
  • The whip pass 
  • The energy throughout

10. Dominique Dawes - 1991
